Austin Kael Jaggar
born Monday, March 22, 2010 at 2:38pm
weight: 7 lbs. 8 oz. length: 19 3/4 in.

(you can skip the writing part and just check out the pictures if you want to be spared the details of his birth. I'm writing it for my own journaling.)
I had been dying to get him out for a good week and had tried everything under the sun to induce labor. We took at least one walk a day, and I even tried labor inducing cookies! I started having contractions on Wednesday night, but they went away. And this carried on for days. He was definitely being a stubborn little guy.But at 6:30am Monday morning I woke up to contractiosn that were consistantly 3 to 5 minutes apart. 2 and a half hours later we headed to the hospital. I was only 3 cm. so they had me walk for an hour and when they checked again I was a 5. That was the farthest I had ever gone into labor without an epidural. With Riker I got one at 3 cm, and I do not have a very high tolerance for pain. They admitted me and I got an epidural right away, I love epidurals btw.
To make a long story short, my midwfie broke my water and about 2 hours later I felt like I needed to push. And then 2 pushes and there was baby Austin! My delivery was just a easy as with Riker and the midwife told me she wants to deliver all my babies because I was born to do it and I make it look so easy. What can I say? I'm just good :)
