Starvin' Marvin

Riker was so hungry at dinner he decided he couldn't wait on us, so he decided to say his own prayer without help.

Crazy, Crazy

This is what Riker does when he's suppose to be waiting for Mitchell get back with a cup. Not only is he sitting in the sink, but has turned the water on. What a stinker! At least I have taught my hubby well, he took the picture :)

This is how we found Riker one morning. At least we know he can sleep anywhere, right?

Green Eggs and Cream Cheese?

For dinner on St. Patty's Day I made breakfast! I looove me some breakfast for dinner-- probably because I could eat breakfast food for every meal. I made green egg and then decided to make green cream cheese, it was a little deceiving as you ate it because it definitely looked like frosting. But frosting on a bagel would be kind of gross, especially an onion bagel, yuck!

Hope everyone had a very green day!

Our New Addition!

Introducing...

Mega!
Mitchell and Riker came home the other day with this little fella. He's a Crownbetta. I told Mitchell he needs to take care of him because he decided to sporadically bring home a new pet, but now I guess little Mega is growing on me :)

Zoinks

We went to Zoinks for playgroup and I think I had more fun than Riker did, crawling through all those tunnels and sliding down the slides. Good thing he's under 3 so I can go inside the moon bounces with him!

Stompin on a Gator! That's my boy!

Jumpin around with Taylor.

About to go down a huge slide!

Here he comes!

Dennis Quaid

I found this secretly taken picture on my camera today.

I love it when Mitchell actually smiles in pictures! I call it his a "Dennis Quaid smile". And those blue eyes, Riker definitely got them from his Daddy.

I love my boys!

Sbarro

Riker's absolute favorite place to eat is Sbarro, it's an Italian place in both of the malls here in Tally. He loves the ziti and he will down an entire plate of it! Basically amazing for us. So we took him there for his birthday dinner!

Stuffing his face.

And Cinnabon for dessert!

Riker's 2nd Birthday Party!

We had Riker's birthday party this year at Tom Brown Park, and it was a Cars theme (of course). He had tons of fun playing with all of his friends and he loved the cake part of it!

The invitations!

My friend made these really cute "drivers licenses" for each kid that came, we used them as nametags. I love how they turned out!

I had a craft set up for the kids to make license plates, Riker wasn't too into it but everyone else was.

Riker and Erin waiting for cake.

The cakes, Whitewall Tires, just like Lightning McQueen gets in the movie.

Make a wish!

He loved the cake.

Swing, Swing, Swing

Presents!

He had some dirty feet after playing at the park all day!

Bye Bye Binky, Hello Big Boy Bed

My little man has officially grown up. We got him a toddler bed today (for 30 bucks!) and I sneakily took away his Binky at nap time. He looked at me a little confused but didn't say anything and went to sleep. Tonight after we tucked him in, handed him his Lamby and Pooh, he looked at me and Mitchell with those beautiful blue eyes and stuck his finger in his mouth and started to bite it. Our hearts melted...he obviously wanted his precious Binky. We explained to him that big boy beds don't come with Binkys and that he was a big boy now not a baby.
After we left the room Mitchell said he felt bad for taking it away from him. I hadn't thought about it until then, but I was sad about it too. It's not like the Binky was a burden to us, he never fussed for it and he knew he only got it at bedtime. So taking it away seemed so hateful of us to do. But I'm so proud of him for being such a trooper about it, he didn't cry at all!
There goes the crib!

Big Boy Bed!!!

They love it.

The best I could get of him "laying" in his new bed.

FSU Baseball

It's baseball season! Woop! Riker loves going to the FSU baseball games and this time his little "girlfriend" and her family came. She was opening boiled peanuts for him and everything! Here's some pictures him and Erin took.

Riker took this one

Riker wouldn't stay still long enough for Erin to take a decent picture of him. This is what most of the looked like.

Riker got this one of Erin. What a cutie!

This is one I took, they were a little hyped up on sugar so it was hard to get a good one. This is the best I got!

The Melting Pot

Every year Mitchell and I go to the fondue restaurant The Melting Pot for our anniversary. It is so good! It takes about 2 hours to eat the full 4 course meal and it's nice to have the time to just sit and talk and eat (my 2 favorite things).

Presents!

There we are!

Mitchell dippin'

Conversation

As many of you know from a previous post that when Mitchell gets tired funny things tend to happen. Tonight was no different.

It's 11:30ish and I know he's really tired because he keeps closing his eyes and then popping them back open real quick to "prove" he's not asleep. I just keep talking...like I usually do. Then I notice he's doing that really annoying thing with his leg--you know when they have they're knees up in the air but they're asleep so they're leg just sways back and forth. But it never actually falls because they're awake enough to keep it from falling.--yeah that thing. It drives me insane! I put my hand on his knee and say "Stop moving you leg." Then he proceeds by saying "They're moving cause we were dancing!" in a really serious voice. He starts to laugh cause he awake enough to realize he said something so amazingly funny that I would laugh at him for a full 15 minutes. And that I did.
