What a Cutie-Patootie!

I thought I'd post a few pictures of Riker from the past few weeks. Isn't he the cutest little boy ever?
Another one with all his gear on.
I found him in his room in this basket with all of this treasures: a ball (of course), his spider, his ladybug, and his teeny tiny doggie. He keeps all of the stuff except for the balls on a shelf in his room so they don't get lost. He's so smart!
Here are his tiny feet in my big ol' shoes. But I thought it was cute that he got his toes in right and everything.
Riker's recent obsession is the movie Cars, my Grandma got it for him for Christmas and he wants to watch it almost everyday.

My mom gave Riker a Mr. Potato Head for Christmas, and I actually forgot about it. But today I pulled it out from under his bed, and he absolutely loves it! Even though he gets frustrated because all the parts don't stay in all the time. He got a "camera" in his stocking too, and he was "taking pictures" of Mr. Potato Head dressed up as a Pirate for about 30 minutes. Too cute!

FREE!!

I love getting free stuff, though it rarely happens, but now everyone has an opportunity to get something free! Woo Hoo! Carrie Stroud is in my ward at church and she is an amazing photographer! I'm in the process of talking Mitchell into letting us get our pictures taken by her this summer when Mileena comes down. Anyway she is a having a give-away! You will get a free session with her. Encore!

Riker is always asking me to listen to "jams"(music). His favorite is still "Love In This Club" by Usher. I already put a video up of him jamming to it a little while ago. But I took another one today.

It's the Circus!!

I've been so busy lately! We went to the circus last Thursday, and Riker loved it. We went to the pre-show but he wasn't too sure about being up close and personal with the people and animals. When the show actually started he was in heaven.

Riker is completely in love with motorcycles these days, so he was super excited to see a real up close!

Riker's $10 circus hat! So expensive, it came with cotton candy, but that hat probably costs 2 cents to make.

Boo-Boos

We realized not too long ago this Riker is afraid of bandaids. Here's a video of Mitchell trying to get him to touch his boo-boos (with bandaids on them).

New Sundays

Since it's the beginning of the year we started going to church at 9 am instead of 1 pm. It's a good switch for us, considering the 1pm church starts right when Riker usually takes his nap. So we got out at 12 and had lunch, then we all took a nap, then had dinner, then watched Ice Age 2. It was a very relaxing day, and we LOVED it!


Mitchell was leaning up against the bar finishing this last piece of corn, and Riker wasnted to get up there to eat his cookie. He wants to be just like his Daddy!

Bye 2008!

Last night we went to my friend's house for a bonfire. And we let Riker stay up until midnight, he has spent most of the day today catching up on his sleep. I gave him a late nap yesterday so he slept until like 6:30 last night. But he had tons of fun and so did Mitchell and I.


He can never just smile!

My First Cricut Projects!

I have been wanting a Cricut for a while and I knew I would definitely use it for scrapbooking. But since I've gotten it I've used it for 2 other things too! It's hard to drag out ALL of my scrapbooking stuff while Riker is taking a nap so I only to that every now and then. Plus, I have been waiting until we had a printer and until I got the Cricut to finish all the jounaling in all 5 of our scrapbooks. So now I'm super behind on that part and it kind of overwelms me so I'm taking it slow. But here are the two things I have done with my Cricut since Christmas.

Sorry it's crooked, there was a glare on the pictures if I took it straighten on. I've been trying to figure out something to do in the corner frames of this since we got it, and it finally hit me what to do with it. I think it turned out pretty cute for being my first attempt.

I've been trying really hard recently to get birthday cards out to everyone in our "immediate" family. Moms, Dads, brothers, sisters, grandmas, grandpas, cousins and such. I make all of the cards I need send out that month or the first week of the next month on the 1st. These are the ones I needed to make for this month, I thought adding their names were a cute and more personal touch. And another way for me to use my new toy :)
